Stikstof behandeling (cryotherapie)
Na de behandeling ontstaat een blaasje of korst die binnen 1 tot 3 weken geneest. Het cosmetisch resultaat is doorgaans goed.
Wratten, actinische keratosen, oppervlakkige basaalcelcarcinomen, seborrhoïsche keratosen en andere goedaardige letsels worden routinematig behandeld met vloeibare stikstof.
Wat is stikstofbehandeling?
Stikstofbehandeling (cryotherapie) is een eenvoudige dermatologische ingreep waarbij vloeibare stikstof (-196°C) wordt gespoten of aangebracht op huidletsels om ze te vernietigen.
